As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for an Data Architect to join its Architecture team.

YOUR ROLE

Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, with a focus on Data Mesh architecture, to align with business goals and objectives
Lead the implementation of Data Mesh principles, including domain-driven ownership, decentralized data ownership, and data product thinking, to transform our data ecosystem
Design and maintain data models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient and optimized for performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust data integration pipelines and ETL processes
Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, security and compliance within the Data Mesh framework
Lead data & BI professionals functionally, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Drive the design and development of the company's data architecture, “gluing” BI and Data Science architecture, selecting appropriate tools and technologies while aligning with Data Mesh principles
Utilize Python and Power BI for data manipulation, analysis and scripting tasks as needed
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes and best practices
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a data-driven organization
Expertise in Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting
Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes and data integration
Experience with data modeling and database design
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
Data governance and data quality expertise
In-depth understanding and practical experience with Data Mesh architecture principles
